Black Chandelier is presenting its first annual t-shirt artwork design contest.
This design contest gives creative minds an opportunity
to design t-shirt artwork and provides them with a unique venue to display
their design. Contestants have until tuesday, May 15th to conceptualize,
design and submit their artwork. A contestant may enter as many times
as they like, as long as their designs meet
the application criteria. After the submission deadline, Jared Gold,
head designer of Black Chandelier, will choose grand prize winners from
the entries. The winning designs will be produced by Black Chandelier
for sale in our retail and web stores. The winners
will receive a $250 Black Chandelier gift card and their desings will be displayed at the Jared Gold May fashion show. The winner and a guest will also be given front row seats at the fashion show.
Design contest applicants can submit their original designs to andypitts@blackchandelier.com.
All entries must follow contest rules and artwork guidlines found on
the details page. All entries are due by 5pm tuesday May 15th. Applicants
must provide accurate age and school name (if under 19) for division
classifications.

Contest details:
Artwork Specification Guidelines:
- maximum design size is 12 inches wide by 18 inches high
- design can be up to four colors
- spot color only, no CMYK
- design must be in .JPG format
- design must be 300 dpi
- no mechanical bleeds, foiling, flocking or specialized inks
- t-shirt body prints only, no sleeve prints
- there is no theme, and students are encouraged to be creative, but offensive or inappropriate designs will only be accepted at Black Chandelier’s discretion

- designs must be original art and may not contain copyright material
- artwork entry deadline is 5 PM tuesday May 15th

Grand Prizes
- four winners will be selected from the entries, One winner for each category:
- women’s t-shirt artwork design high school

- winners will recieve the following grand prize packagesa $250 Black Chandelier gift card design will be produced in a limited edition run by Black Chandelier, to be sold in all Black Chandelier retail and webstores
design will be displayed at the Jared Gold Spring Runway Show show as well as online at blackchandelier.com
